Jordan Kennedy is an actor, comedian and writer working in Toronto, Canada.
As an actor, Jordan has a BFA in theatre from York University, working with instructors such as Mark Wilson, Tom Diamond and Peter McKinnon along the way. Upon graduating in 2005, Jordan was featured in a number of short films around Toronto, including XXX-RAY, which screened at the 2008 Daryl's Hard Liquor and Porn Festival. In April, 2009, Jordan shot his first industrial video for BBW International.
Jordan writes and performs frequently with his sketch comedy troupe Accidental Company. Formed in 2004, Accidental Company performs regularly around such Toronto venues as the Rivoli, Comedy Bar and Bad Dog theatre. The duo have been featured in the past 3 Toronto Sketch Comedy festivals, participated in the 2007 Toronto Fringe Festival and last year performed in Montreals sketch fest. This past January Accidental Company performed two shows to enthusiastic audiences at the 2009 Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival. They have produced a short film and been featured on Global Television.
Jordan is also an active member of the Toronto improv community. As a graduate of the Second City conservatory program, he has been privledged to train and perform with many of Toronto's improv luminaries, including Kerry Griffin, Sandy Jobin-Bevans and Jan Caruana. Jordan performs frequently at the Bad Dog theatres Harold Night as a member of the long form improv group Action Slacks.
